Dementia Care at The Hurstway Care Home

Our nurses are trained to deal with patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s or other forms of memory loss. We know that dementia affects every resident differently, so our team is trained to provide bespoke care, in a comfortable and safe environment. The design of the care home has also been adapted, to make it easier for patients with Dementia to get around, using special colour schemes, simple patterns, clear signage, helping minimise the impact of the symptoms of dementia
